The Cottage

Les Charmes de Carlucet Cottage is a beautiful stone, contemporary 5 Star country cottage with 3 air-conditioned bedrooms all with private bathrooms. & large private terrace with stunning views over the valley to the 11^th Century church and hamlet of Carlucet.

The cottage has been recently renovated & restored to the highest levels of comfort with quality, tasteful & stylish furnishings. Free high speed Wifi. It can accommodate up to 5 people.

Private Bathrooms

All the bathrooms in this beautiful home country home are well equipped with showers, toilets, toiletries, sink, & one bathroom has a bath as well as a shower. The bathroom for the bedroom of the ground floor has a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedrooms

The 2 bedrooms on the 1^st floor have king size beds & the 1 bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed. All 3 bedrooms are furnished with extra comfort mattresses & pillows & have high quality bedlinen & towels to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep. They all have air conditioning and private bathrooms.

The kitchen

The fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, Electric oven & hob, allows you to discover & sample the delights of Périgordine Cuisine with your friends and family.

Living/Dining area

The kitchen/living/dining area is light and airy and open plan with exposed stone walls, comfortable seating for up to 5 people in both the living and dining area, UK & French Satellite TV & pellet burning stove.

Exterior

The kitchen/dining area opens out directly onto a large private southwest facing terrace (100 m²) with gas BBQ, comfortable outdoor seating, dining table and chairs.

Completely private and overlooking the ancient church and hamlet of Carlucet, the views are stunning with the most amazing sunsets over the valley.

Private use of Spa/Jacuzzi with space for up to 5 people, with stunning views.

There is private parking for up to 2 cars.

In the heart of the Perigord Noir, Dordogne, South west France, 5 mins walk to a popular local restaurant, 12km from Sarlat-la-Canéda, 13km from the world famous caves of Lascaux, 1.5km from the pretty market village of Salignac-Eyvigues with all essential amenities you could need & close to the Dordogne river valley.

Within easy reach of the very best of everything this spectacular region has to offer. Les Charmes de Carlucet Cottage is surrounded by breathtaking peaceful Dordogne Countryside & has panoramic views over Carlucet’s stunning eleventh century Roman church across the small valley. It is just 2 Km from the pretty village of Salignac.

There are many glorious walking & cycling trails that start from the doorstep. The surrounding Countryside is filled with amazing wildlife, rare & beautiful wild flowers.
Many of the most beautiful villages in France, majestic Chateaux along the banks of the Dordogne & 147 UNESCO World Heritage sites of prehistoric importance are all close by.

Accommodation for Larger groups

The Cottage is next door to our Beaux Reves 5 star Villa. Each house is completely private & separate from each other with their own private garden and Beaux Reves pool. However, both houses can be rented together to accommodate larger groups of up to 12 people.
